What I Want To Get Out From Lifting
If you asked me "What do I want to get out from lifting?" over 10 years ago, you would have received a completely different answer. Most likely I would tell you the numbers I would want to achieve (800+ squat, 500+ bench, 1000+ deadlift). I was very fixated on achieving those numbers and goals at one time that it became a problem to me that it interfered with what else I was capable of doing. Now today I may never see those numbers (however I have achieved a 505lb. bench press and am on my way back to going over 400lbs with ease at a 225lb bodyweight) but my answer to that question today would be simple, it would be what I would want to give back. I want to take all the knowledge I got out from lifting and share it with others. Teach people the proper way to lift, correct their form, and not make the same mistakes I made when it came to dieting and lifting too heavy too often. I want to serve my community with the knowledge I have and have others strive for a healthy lifestyle should they put their heart, mind, and body into it. I do not want to keep my love of fitness to myself, I want to be able to share and enjoy it with others. I want to be able to do what I enjoy and love doing and that is working out. Hopefully along the way I can get others to feel the same way too! That is what I want to get out from this!
